The day after Christmas we all traveled to Lafayette to enjoy the Speer Family Christmas. Cristy and Will welcomed us into their home and we had a fabulous time. We enjoyed more good food...Gene made his famous gumbo... and others brought sandwiches, fruit, cake, cookies, and many more fattening Christmas goodies. It was good to spend time visiting with and reminiscing with family members that we don't see often enough. Evie had a good time playing in the tee pee and running around with all of her cousins. I have to say though...Walter and I realized that night that we were the oldest ones there. Oh well...that's just a part of being "in the home stretch."
I love the blog!! How cool is it that my parents are blogging! It definitely is 2010. Jenny is also doing a blog so we will have all kinds of good stuff on the blogosphere!!!
