We found out on Tuesday that our little Kelley has not one, but two lazy eyes. There is a strong genetic trait in the Speer family for lazy eye as three of my four siblings had it. However, I don't think that anyone has had TWO lazy eyes! Anyhow, the doctor says that eye patch treatments are in order for about a month. If we see no improvement (and the dr. is not optomistic) then surgery will be needed. We believe in the power of prayer and believe that through prayer anything can happen! So, pray for our Kelley...and you will notice from the picture that he is still his happy go lucky self.
