A Happy Father's Day wish goes out to both Walter and Toby on this Father's Day. We hope that you enoy your special day and know that we love you both very much.
A special note to say how proud Walter and I are of Toby on this Father's Day. He has had enourmous pressure in the last few weeks...a new born baby, a sick wife, and a demanding two year old. Toby handled these challenges with relative ease and did not come crying to his "Mommy" once. Good job Toby, you deserve something special this Father's Day.
Father's Day is also a special day to remember our fathers who are no longer with us...Jim "Coach" Speer and Ferdinand "Toby" Comeaux. Two wonderful men, one of whom our sons never even had a chance to meet. Though their lives were cut short, they were both men who loved their families and adored their children and grandchildren. We miss them very much.
We had a fun afternoon at Sharon and Joe's (thanks guys!!)house in Metairie where Evie had the opportunity to share the afternoon with both sets of grandparents. Evie played in the pool with her cousins and entertained us all with her antics. Kelley of course is into the regular eat, poop, and sleep cycle but Papaw managed to squeeze in some special Father's Day time with him too.
