Walter and I lost a good friend this week. Our peaceful little world was shocked into reality when we learned Wednesday morning of the sudden death of Jim Martin. Jim was a good man; he was a husband, father, Christian leader, volunteer and businessman. Jim was Walter’s mentor in the business world and from that mentor ship sprang a beautiful and lasting 17 year friendship. Words are not adequate to explain the depth of this man but I do know that although our hearts are heavy, heaven is smiling today because Jim Martin is there. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his wife Anne and the children…Katie, Emily, Becky, and Jay. We’ll miss you buddy!!!
